We Are:
We are trained consultants and experienced staff intimately familiar with
the gravest substance abuse issues facing the Latino population. Our
goal is to work with you in developing and strengthening culturally based
solutions to combat drug and alcohol abuse in Latino communities in the
State of California.
Summary of Accomplishments:
The California State Department of Alcohol and Drug Problems awarded the
Latino Technical Assistance Project to the California Hispanic Commission
on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Inc. (C.H.C.A.D.A.) in 1975. For over 30 years,
CHCADA's services resulted in the most comprehensive network of Alcohol
& Drug Services to the Latino Community anywhere in the nation. Through
a network of 50 Alcohol and Drug agencies developed by CHCADA, Inc., through
its Technical Assistance Contract, California has effectively responded
to the critical needs of its Latino population. |
